Should purchase orders in Germany include MwSt (VAT)?
Show MwSt (VAT) the same way you would on an invoice — clients want to see the total they will actually pay. Germany applies 19% standard VAT (Mehrwertsteuer), with a reduced 7% rate for certain goods and services. Small businesses may use the Kleinunternehmerregelung and then must not charge VAT.
