Show Consumption Tax the same way you would on an invoice — clients want to see the total they will actually pay. Japan applies 10% consumption tax (8% reduced rate for certain food items). Since the invoice system (qualified invoice / インボイス制度) began, registered businesses issue qualified invoices showing their registration number.
